Bio
Erin Corday is a guitarist, composer, producer and instructor with 20 years experience performing, recording and teaching music in the US, Canada and Mexico.
Erin has headlined at premier concert halls (500 - 1,200 seats) with Johnny Cunningham, Mícheál Ó Domhnaill, and the Flying Karamazov Brothers as well as solo at the Seattle Mercer Arena. The top-selling hit of the ’98 Mission Music Festival, Erin's festival credits include Bumbershoot and main stage performances at the Ottawa Folk Festival, High Sierra Music Festival and the Festival de Verano in Mexico City. She has appeared on festival panels with Martin Sexton, Patty Larkin, Bill Bourne (Tannahill Weavers), and co-billed with Rose Polenzani, Blame Sally and the Paperboys. Notable club dates include the Freight & Salvage, Rogue Folk Club, Largo and the Triple Door.
Erin has opened for Bill Frisell, Donovan, Roger McGuinn of The Byrds, David Grisman, the Story, Richard Thompson, British guitarist Martin Simpson, and Brazilian superstar Milton Nascimento.

In 2016, Erin expanded her music studio to focus on teaching guitarists and mentoring new performers year-round.
Today, Erin's student community includes all kinds of players, from lifelong guitarists to beginners, soloists, garage bands, fellow professionals, and emerging artists.

Erin’s main concert guitars are a Gibson ES-355, Fender Telecaster, Martin D-28 acoustic, 1974 Traphagen custom flamenco hybrid, Martin 000C-16SGTNE acoustic-electric crossover, and custom 8-string jarana veracruzana.

Current Projects
Erin's fifth solo album "Where the Body Is" charted on the Euro-Americana Top 50 and has been heralded as "phenomenal" by Heaven Pop Magazine in an advance European release. Produced by Michael Savage and mastered by Roger Seibel (Bon Iver, the Decemberists), the album is set for its U.S. national release in 2022.
Erin’s live shows feature her band with Keith Lowe (bassist for Wayne Horvitz, Fiona Apple) and drummer Joel Litwin (Arête Quartet, Incendio).

On Waterbug Records, the Chicago-based indie label that introduced Dar Williams, Anais Mitchell, and Devin Sproule, Erin’s five solo recordings have won press accolades in the Boston Phoenix, Minor 7th Guitar Review, UK's Folk Roots, Performing Songwriter Magazine, Seattle Weekly, College Music Journal, Ottawa Sun and the Associated Press.
Her albums have sold over 8,000 copies at concerts and festivals in the U.S, Canada and Mexico. In 2022 her back catalog will be made available on all major digital distribution and streaming services.
