Bio:

Eric has studied with some of the greatest voice teachers in the country including George Shirley, the first Black Tenor to sing at The Met, and Liz Caplan, the premiere Broadway vocal coach in New York City. Eric's professional musical theater experience includes performing on Broadway in Jesus Christ Superstar, singing the "Aquarius" solo in in the Encores production of Hair at NY City Center, and originating the role of Harold opposite Academy Award winner Estelle Parsons in the world premiere of Harold & Maude: The Musical.  He also has several Opera credits ranging from playing Frederic in Pirates of Penzance with Eugene Opera to playing Older Brother in the NYC premiere of Jake Heggie's Dead Man Walking at Lincoln Center. Eric has directed several shows at Anacortes Community Theatre including The Fantasticks, Sweeney Todd, and the upcoming Guys & Dolls. As a teacher, Eric can guide students to not only build their range but build their stamina as well so that that they can sing like a rock star or opera diva without ever losing their voice!  As a performer, Eric has auditioned hundreds of times and he knows how to help you prepare for auditions both vocally and mentally.  Also known for playing the role of Zack on the TV show "Bones," Eric can help you learn how to approach music as an actor.
